An Advocacy Campaign Spotlights the Ordinary Lives of People with Disabilities in a Lighthearted Short Film

To kick off their joint WeThe15 marketing campaign, the Worldwide Paralympic Committee and Worldwide Incapacity Alliance commissioned a brief movie that takes a humorous and playful method to showcasing the abnormal lives of individuals with disabilities. Produced by Sam Pilling of Pulse Films, the advert makes use of a collection of vignettes to highlight members of the incapacity group, who communicate to their joyful, irritating, and routine experiences alongside the discrimination and stereotypes many confront every day.

WeThe15 will assist launch the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Video games and be proven on the opening ceremony on August 24. It hopes to spur higher visibility, inclusion, and accessibility for the 1.2 billion folks residing with disabilities worldwide, making it the most important marginalized group at about 15 % of the worldwide inhabitants.
